Hotel Regulations
The room order by the guest (proffer) and the subsequent oral or written consent (acceptance) by the accommodation provider to make the requested room available, results in a lodging contract being entered into.
This lodging contract obligates both the hotelier to make the room available, as it does the guest, upon receipt of his/her confirmation, to avail him-/herself of said room. If this lodging contract is unilaterally rescinded by the guest due to "personal reasons", the guest must still pay the stipulated remuneration along with any financial damages incurred due to non-fulfillment of the contract.
The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit amounting to 50% of the total price for the stay, as well as a written confirmation of the receipt of this deposit from the accommodation provider. We strongly recommend taking out a holiday cancellation insurance policy. Further information may be obtained from your host.
